Ok, so when it comes to possibly slipping and breaking my legs I'm a wuss. I've done tons of reading about saltwater fishing and they all suggest Korkers. What do you regular Jetty fisherpeople wear when you're out there?

Now that you mention it there was thread on here about a guy who was fishing at the park out in West Linn (Willamette I think) and he wound up catching a cat fish and it bit him. It's a pretty funny story. That would be in the general area mentioned above.

A while ago there was a post about there being some good sized bass in there even if it is too cold for them unless you're Colby. However someone mentioned TSA either patrolling it or owning it so you might get groped for your trouble.

I have actually read that Sculpin are actually pretty good. Someone pointed out that they were related to Lings and Cabezon. I'm adventurous, and wouldn't mind trying one if i caught one big enough.
