    Jetty footwear

Ok, so when it comes to possibly slipping and breaking my legs I'm a wuss. I've done tons of reading about saltwater fishing and they all suggest Korkers. What do you regular Jetty fisherpeople wear when you're out there?

    Green Canyon by Zig Zag.

Well fishing was a moot point as all of my stuff was stolen the day I was supposed to leave. My own fault, i forgot to lock the door and he popped the trunk and ran off with it. Even stole my stringer. I bought a cheapy Ready to fish Combo on the way but the spot I was at (beyond the...

    Green Canyon by Zig Zag.

Hello everyone, I'm going to be camping up by Zig Zag and was curious if anyone knew what if anything was running through the Salmon river up by there? Any help would be appreciated.

    Willamette zone Catfish

Now that you mention it there was thread on here about a guy who was fishing at the park out in West Linn (Willamette I think) and he wound up catching a cat fish and it bit him. It's a pretty funny story. That would be in the general area mentioned above.

    Willamette zone Catfish

I heard years ago from an older gentleman that there were Channel Cats in both the Columbia and the Willamette. I've also read recent reports that say the same thing. However I think the water is generally too cold for them to be very active. I think I heard something about people having luck...

    Pond by Michaels' Crafts

A while ago there was a post about there being some good sized bass in there even if it is too cold for them unless you're Colby. However someone mentioned TSA either patrolling it or owning it so you might get groped for your trouble.

    Fun on the Necanicum

I have actually read that Sculpin are actually pretty good. Someone pointed out that they were related to Lings and Cabezon. I'm adventurous, and wouldn't mind trying one if i caught one big enough.

    Brown trout? Yes please!!!

Would a fish finder rig work as an alternative for inflating nightcrawlers for browns? Unfortunately for me a boat isn't an option at this point. <:^(

    Catfish in the Portland area?

There are supposed to be Channel Cats and Yellow Bullheads in the Columbia and Willamette. Salish Ponds off of 201 and Glisan have yellow bullheads in them, but if your going there at night park in the parking lot. There are a lot of hoodlums around there at night too burning docks and what...

    Faraday tips

Chia Chad, most of the fish that I have seen caught there are caught off of the Damn. From like the second fishing platform (i assume thats what they are  ) There is a mud flat and they are usually on either side of that. If you get real lucky the very end of the Damn is the most...
