Went out this weekend and I have an electric down rigger. My buddy used a heavy salmon pole with a 20 oz. weight on it with a line counter. It worked just as well as my electric.

You can fish them in the willamette also. Little dicknite pink and white works well with a spreader and some weight.

Here is a question. What do you think the best leader line out there is?
