are you fishing for large or small mouth? For small mouth i have had great luck with curly tail grubs, tubes or Yamamoto Baby Craws...the smallies love em...for large mouth i usually use a 5in or 6in yamamoto senko texas rigged or original floating rapalla in a bright color and either jerk...
hit up walling for 2 hrs last night...not a great night but my last cast before i left i caught about a 2lber on topwater...so ended up being successful night!
Hit up Walling this am for the morning bite...I caught total of 4 LMB...2 off top water around 9am and 2 off Senkos around 10am...All ranged from 1-2lbs...gotta love Walling...catch a fish every time I fish there!
I fish the Tualatin quite regular...best bass fishing is above Cook Park towards 99W Bridge and past....have had best luck with a weedless jighead hook and a Gary Yamamoto Baby Craw or Gitzit Tubes...I have also had quite some luck with top water in the evening right before sunset...but again...
Ya i have noticed a decline in bites and fish this year...i think it has a lot to do with our long wet spring and not tons of sun...weather can really screw it all up
