Seems like a questionable time of the year to bass fish, unless your only goal is to upset the locals... I'd recommend giving it at least a couple months.

What do some of you folks recommend for the Browns out there? I could order obscure lures online that I might not find in local stores. Does anything in particular produce well for both trout and bass, like shad cranks? First time out there.

More importantly, which river are they dumping these salmon into? The article says it was the last of the haul. Hopefully they mistook the salmon for the trout hatchery.

The Anti Snagging Restriction is listed under the General Statewide Regulations (Page 12) and specifically says "See regulation exceptions for where anti-snagging gear restrictions are in place." Would this be streams that enforce bobber only fishing? I can't seem to find neither an example...
