So my father in law has had this boat in his backyard for a while now. He offered it to me for free. It looks like it’d be a nice little bass boat. It’s got a crack at the bottom that I need to fix. I know nothing about boats so can anyone tell what this boat is made from? OBVIOUSLY not aluminum...
i just started bass fishing last year but didn't catch my first smallmouth until the start of summer. How much longer until you guys recommend i go and start fishing for smallmouth? I like to drive an hour out to Washington for smallies so I’d rather not go out there if it’s not time yet haha
So fall has started (obviously) and there's a lake I've been fishing at since the start of summer. It's connected to the Columbia River by a pipeline and I'm assuming fish come in and out through there, I was wondering if the fish will stay inside of the lake now that the water is getting colder...
Damn, wish i could go on a weekday:/ and that sounds like a very logical way to get to the big fish! I'm thinking of taking my kayak and launching it at Lepage Park on Saturday, do you think the water there is calm enough for my inflatable Intex kayak? Not going too far down just trying to stay...
Thanks for the tips! Went to JS Burress state parke and caught 24 with my son on Saturday! They were all very small, maybe 5ish inches, were yours about the same size?
Thank you! I've been going to a lake 53 mins away from cottonwood canyon and have only been catching 5 fish a day and a friend of mine told me he's been going to the John Day river and catches about 22 a day I just feel awkward asking him where his honey hole is at lol!
funny thing is, I'm the...
Looking to hit the John Day River for some smallmouth, any spots or parks I should look into? I've heard stuff about the mouth of the john day but that's about it. It's overwhelming to pick a spot because of how long it is
Im able to turn fish icons on for my deeper as well, but it kept marking "fish" when it was just a school of baitfish or a log or rock, so I looked it up and they say you're better off turning the fish icons off and looking for the arcs yourself.
I bought myself a deeper sonar fish finder and trying to learn how to use it for bass fishing. I was wondering if anyone can help me pinpoint what is what in these pictures? I learned that arcs are the fish and skinner=small and thicker=big. But I'm not sure if I see any arcs in these pictures...
okay guys, the wife is gone this weekend so I get a full day of fishing. I work a lot so I never get a full day of bass fishing. Anyone willing to give up a honey hole for the day? Lol any ideas as to where theyre biting at right now? Caught a few small ones at st louis lately and at salish but...
