Thanks, it is a great place to fish. Many holes and very few people compared to the west side. Was a good chance to visit family and enjoy some tight lines.

Lost a big one at the bank, very next cast this majestic piece of chrome. 26" hatchery hen. Now I can't stop thinking about it.

Thinking of taking the little boat and fishing with the wife on Christmas at hagg lake. Anyone been lately? Or doing any Christmas fishing themselves. Also thought of taking her on the sandy for some steelies but not sure yet.

Grande Ronde/Wallowa steelhead well... I lost a big one, close to 24" never got it close. but when it came out of the water, I almost think it was a bull trout. besides that, lots of rainbow trout to be had in the wallowa river.

Gonna be in La grande visiting family that now lives there. Uncle and I are looking to do some steelhead fishing this Saturday. We've both fished the lower deschutes with spinners/plugs/wobblers and side planers. Just wondering which river would be the better option and roughly where. And if...
