Its too bad it was only open for retention for about a month this year but catch and release is just as good.

Those damn bullhead are really takin over Ochoco, 18" bows used to be quite common but last time i went i think i ended up with 3 about 12". I think i caught more bullhead and crappie trolling than trout!

Ash Island just below Rodgers landing is always productive as well as the mouth of the yamhill.

I was up there yesterday fishing the Breitenbush arm, they were hitting just about anything. But they really seemed to love my cured steelhead roe! It wouldnt last more than a minute after i cast before i had one on. didn't see any bigger fish, just the common planter size and no million dollar...

Its been years since i been there, dont remember too many fish but i do remember always gettin ticks. Dont forget the deet!

I used to fish those ponds a lot, no wonder you can't find big bass in there anymore. Good job catching him!
