Ya pinks in columbia, just VERY low numbers and nearly endangered. No fishing for them allowed. They go straight to like canada and idaho i think.

Ya, trout farms are a pretty expensive. If you don't mind and ugly fish (no offense carp enthusiasts), try carp, they are huge

If climate change is the direct result of those losses, then i belive it, but i think too many people are in motion to try to reverse habitat loss for trout.

Thats exactly how it happens for me. I'm not even very stealhty, i come in and make a lot of noise, and they still jump around like crazy.

At a trout creek i fish at, every time i have been there, Summer steelhead fly out of the water rising to some imaginary fly. It doesn't matter what i cast towards them, they don't take any flies. But then out of nowhere, there flying out of the water again. What could they be rising at?
