New to Oregon, fished stripers back east and miss 'em! I understand some are available on the Smith River, but it sounds pretty inconsistent. Enjoy catching salmon/steelhead, grew up in Michigan and am familiar with them. Also have enjoyed shark fishing from the beach. In general, I'm a shore fisherman although I've got a kayak. I'm an artist and retired cabinet maker, 24 years in the field.
