Thinking of hitting the lake this weekend for some bass if the weather holds. Seeing if anybody has been bass fishing recently and what have you been using. Trying to see if it is worth the trip. If things don't go well, there is always trout. haha. Thanks!

Troll with night crawlers! You will even occasionally get a bass along the dam.

Use live sand shrimp! You'll get better luck ;)

Try commonswealth pond. A lot bigger and probably 3-5 miles away

Don't go. The weeds are EVERYWHERE. With a such a small body of water. It heats up fast. Then the weeds grow.

Yeah, using worms will bring in ALL the bluegill. Try some crappie jigs with a jig head. Cast and real in slowly. You never know, might get a bass too!

Thanks for the tips guys! I'm actually out here right now for orientation. Going to check out some of these spots before hand so I can prep for my next visit! Oh! And I found out my school has a bass club! :O looks like I'll find out about some new spots from the locals ;)
