    I run a mono backing to braid than to a mono leader using uni if drifting, and a swivel if current is swift.

    that's a good idea thanks Big3d. Jamisonace, I agree with the bead and yarn, sometimes simple is best, I like having everything cause if its getting to the end of the day and no fish, i will throw everything and the sink at them for that last chance.

    I have to start work at Mt. Hood Meadows soon and will be switching to the Sandy during the winter season, don't know how many chances Ill have for Big Creek so Ill take every day I can. I know some spots they hold up in during low water conditions, and if anything Ill hit the Columbia near by...
