My grandpa caught a pair of these squaws on the dike (river adjacent pond which is part of the Wildish gravel quarries near Mt. pisgah.) They were seriousely about 7 lbs and tasted like chicken!

Those crappie have eluded me as well. You'de do well to visit a local garage sale in Lowell or Fall creek and ask the local for advice. I forgot what the last guy told me.:think:
