Hey, I found a dead 10" Catfish in our irrigation ditch today. I suspect it died when I shut the water flow off. The irrigation district get it's water supply directly from the Rogue River above Touvelle Park and below Dodge Bridge Is it possible there is Catfish in the river?

I was out of the expo for about a half hour with no luck. I saw two keepers swim by about 10'to 12' from shore, but i couldn't get them to stay around while I reeled in to re-cast.

I plannned to go to the Expo also, but I ended up on the Scott River instead; due to work. However, I do not have a California Fishng license and couldn't fish. I do keep a pole in my car in case an emergency fishing opportunity arises.

Thanks for the info. I was going to be in the area during the week for work. So I thought I might stop and check it out. Unfurtunately, I will not have a boat. I need to get a kayak that I can put on the roof while working.

I'm thinking of fishing there this week and wanted to know if the fishing is good from the banks of the lake or do you need a boat?

Hey, I was out to the Expo today and found a lot of trash in and around the pounds. I suspect most of the garbage comes from the users of the ponds (Fisherman). When you fish, please take your trash out and take a little extra out with you to help clean up the Ponds.

Yep! It was sad to see the way Diamond lake went downhill in the 90's, because of the Tui Chubb. Fisherman need to stop using them for live bait and check their boats wells before they go from one lake to another.

One of the residence at the lake told me that there are now Tui Chubb in Lake Selmac! Has anyone heard this?
