Walleye have been reported in Foster several times. On every occasion that I am aware of, they ended up being pikeminnow. :D good eating right there! hahaha

The kokanee at GP are really small right now. Most people are going to Detroit or Odell for their fix. Thats why there is very little info out there.

Ive found lots of odd things in the new regs and have been bugging them about it. So far, my questions are just growing pains of the new reg book style and not truly new regs. There is hope that this will be updated. I got this response .... "We're editing some of the regs now to help clarify...

I really like tubes in boring colors (think dirt and dirty green). Spinners are any easy one to start with too.

Around Albany, your best bet from the bank is probably the willamette. The ponds can be very difficult unless you have a small boat. You can catch trout at Foster year round. It also has a large bass population.

Well... you kinda just missed the season. Although, I do know there are some summer runs in the siletz but I know nothing about them. Lots of old Alsea posts on here to look over between now and december ;)
