Thanks Pinstriper for the knowledge. I have used a spincast all my life, and I will be mostly fishing from the bank with spinners so that info is good to know. -chinookless

Also, is a spincast reel suitable? or do I need a baitcasting reel? I don't think the fish can tell the difference, but hey thats just me.

Well went out to the Wilson, couldn't get into much of the lower half of the river due to not having a boat. I took yall's advice and used different size spinners.
