I ended up watching the whole series a few months back to learn. they helped out a lot, some advice i was given and that i used, was practice without a fly in an open field or empty parking lot to get used to the action before you head out to the river.

I've personally never had much luck with spinners over on this side of the mountain, from what I've heard and see with personal experience rapalas are they way to go with a spinning setup.

has anyone been down on the deschutes since we got all the snow and rain a week or so ago? i was thinkin about headin down to steelhead falls this weekend but i wanted to make sure the river is still fishable. im open for other spots too if anyone's got any hot spots :D

well thank you guys, is there any special regulations or anything i should know about? i couldnt find haystack reservoir in the regulations book, and im not sure which river goes through cline falls and tetherow, im assuming the deschutes?

well im looking for some places close to redmond, but a drive doesn't scare me either. unfortunately i dont have a boat so i am somewhat limited to how i can fish
