    Columbia open below Bonneville Dam!

Quote from Oregon live, [ ''This year's sudden appearance of 6,386 through Tuesday is far greater than the 500 anticipated by this date. Biologists said half the sockeye run will usually have passed Bonneville by June 27.'' ] Just might be an historic year! Thanks for the post Raincatcher.

    Boat must fit in garage...

The older I get, the more I think about finding a simple way to move my boats by hand without damage to me or the boat. Gotta admit, nice dolly... The up and down part will surely ease hook-ups.

Nice day at Trojan before they stocked it..

Real Nice rainbows! You got Trojan pond figured out. And I bet you also got a couple local fishers in Rainier jumping up and down angry because of your post! This is exactly What forums are for! Anyone use a row boat? Or all bank fishing? Good question, 95fordranger.

Favorite topwater lures for night jetty fishing

Like EOBOY said ,use a lantern to draw the fish in. Just a floating black & white Rapala cast to the edge of the lantern light. Have the lure dance around as much as you can out there. Bring something to shed the lantern light from your eyes like aluminium foil on your side of the lantern, you...

Cannon Beach red tails / silvers

''Camo...the area you suggested is protected now and closed to all harvesting of any fish, mussels, everything, just in case you get an urge to go there again any time soon.'' Playhookey, I'm truly sorry to hear that. Cove Beach was always a pristine fishery and a fantastic place for beach...

Cannon Beach red tails / silvers

This always seemed a quiet place . I haven't fished there for years and this time of the year it was just me and my dog. Should still be Oregon State signs and where to park. For the ones that never heard of this place, it's Cove Beach, unless they changed it. Ya never know on that part of...

    Carp fishing without groundbait?

The way you structured your post opened a window into the reasoning behind many of OF&W restrictions. Illegal to chum for carp? I believe most of us circumvent regulations at times, not as a deliberate attempt, but to even the playing field. In my personal opinion, it's ''We The People''...

    Charleston Salmon

...Then the weather will clear and the tides will be all backward again. Nothing worse then launching OFF a ramp into a low tide. Well, launching in a low tide during a twenty knot wind with a soaking downpour. Then finding that you left the bait in the fridge and took a pint of potato salad...

    Charleston Salmon

Seems to me the best place to fish will be somewhere under a bridge. https://www.windfinder.com/forecast/astoria

    Boating question

There are some places where a pontoon boat is a real advantage over other craft. Not to be pushy, have you considered buying an aluminium boat and keeping the Raider?

    Boating question

How fast can you row ? And how long can you tread water? There's a guy I fish with that has the same set up as you. He never has trouble in the estuary . We can sometimes get a two knot current. How fast is the current on the Willamette?
