Whats the good word for the fishies? Any lunkers?

I used a plastic frog either jigging or topwater...in a slough in northwest oregon near columbia river. Since then I have caught a few more but nothing that big...those days were awesome.

How is the fishing in any of the lakes near Baker City? i.e. Thief Valley Res., Phillips Lake, Unity Reservior. I will be fishing near there in the near future and would like to have a clue before I head out.

Here are my biggest catches this month. The last 3 bass were caught in the same day along with one other that was pushin 4lbs...I was stoked, my previous best was 5.25lbs from last year. Gotta luv it.

I have been gettin a lil frustrated lately with the outcome of my bass fishing adventures. I have landed about 7 or 8 bass this year, all on some variation of plastic frogs in shallow weedbeds. I usually jig the (texas-rigged w/ offset shank hook) frog across the top of the weeds. The problem...

What areas of the lake did u fish?? I have only tried there a few times from bank, no luck. You think darker colors would work well cuz the water is soo stained??

I was there memorial wknd...road is in good shape. I didn't fish there were a lot of people on the bank. I am assuming there is some decent fishing if there were a lot of people fishing. Good Luck.

Hebo Lake Hebo Lake I was at Hebo lake on Memorial Wknd...it was my first time. I will be goin bak again for sure. We had a nice, peaceful time catching fish as well as watching plenty of other fish caught. Nightcrawlers on a bobber worked for us. Never caught any big ones tho, all about 8...
