If you are looking for crappies this place has some bigguns.....don't trust peeps to be honest about them....and some really nice LM Bass too.

Yup....with sweet potato fries, onion rings and tater sald...all homemade.

They are all Black Crappies....I have never got a White Crappie outta that body of water....some of the other bodies I fish have both...but so far not this one......

Got some good Crappies for some dinners this Afternoon....all on jigs about 12' suspended over and in structure.

Hey Folks I am heading to Prineville Reservoir for a week in Mid June and was looking for some tidbits of info of the warm water species of fishing there MAINLY Crappies....I am guessing it will be post spawn already....so they will be suspended in a deeper water column.....any help would be...

Bee Been much colder nights this than last year....water temp in 2 of my crappie lakes are just now at 58°.....Freeway Lakes have crappie....I had heard that but never tried there looks VERY weedy.

Yeah....depending on speed anywhere from 1 to 3 ounces...I was trolling a tad over 1MPH so I had on over 3.

I caught a White Crappie 2 years ago that was close to 2lbs there.....but since nothing to note...I have caught some small ones in Kirk Pond though.

This place is LOADED with them in 2.5 hours we caught over 100 of them....none over 10"....but still plenty tasty.

VERY VERY SMALL this year....but holy hell is there a lot of em!!!

Alright I know someone here has fished Fern Ridge.....this water body ALWAYS baffles me....I don't want Bass....Crappie is my fish of choice....so come on speak up....😀
