Um, I just wanted to know what some of the more appreciated TECHNIQUES were. Any why you love it. I've already seen enough mono vs. braid threads to vomit.

That being said, you'll need a few spinners buddy. If you are committed to putting your spinner where the fish are. Those fish you seek are in the bottom 12 to 18...
I have no stinking idea. And THAT is tremendously exciting to me! For me the process and constant trial and error, and error, and error is addictive. This is/ will be my first summer as a steelhead nut. I look forward to expanding my game. Oh, and it's probably a good thing I don't gamble.
Spray is a bit South of where we were camped. We stayed between Wasco and Condon, but drove down around Mitchell and Spray. Weather was great, it's nice to get some sun. Have fun, it sounds like people slay the smallies through June and into July.
Going to check out Cottonwood Canyon soon (and surroundings). Would love to catch a few trout. Would really love a summer steelie. Any recommendations?
So I have a few (very rare) days to fish this week. Yesterday I ran over to fish the Nestucca or Trask. I did end up fishing both, but primarily fished the Tucca. Did not see one caught. Did not see one roll. I did do a great job of testing rain gear and truck heater. I'll head out again...
