Hey,
I figured this would be the best way to introduce myself. My name is Osmosis, and I fish for most of the species we have in our local area. mainly salmon, steelhead, and non searun trout. with bass, panfish, and saltwater bottomfishing right behind. I have an alumaweld sled W/ jet, It's a 17' Stryker that I've modified into an open sled W/ tiller. It's perfect for running rivers like the clackamas and I spend alot of time on the Willamette and Columbia as well.. Here's a couple pics from the last few weeks at one of my favorite local lakes. Every photo is of a seperate fish ![]() Aren't Golden trout absolutely Gorgeous!? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a 5wt fly rod ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The lake these fish were all caught from is no more than 2 miles from my house! 9 times out of 10 I have the lake all to myself too! Hope you all enjoy the pictures. |

Welcome aboard,Osmosis! Thank you for sharing pictures of your beautiful catches.
I am guessing they came from private property and you would, but can't tell us where it is... . They sure are nice. Great to have you with us anyway.![]() Barb |

Thank you.
I've never eaten a Golden actually. I've caught 3 so far this year, and only caught two of them last year (one was huge).. too uncommon for me to turn into dinner. the occasional gill hooked rainbow meets the traeger however. |

Hello again Barb.
How'd you know!? kidding. (I posted this on another site we both are on a week or so ago, for all of you that are confused)Like I said if you make it to my area I'd be glad to go fishing, It's just that my neighbors wouldn't be too happy if I told people how to get to their lakes and ponds. ![]() ![]() Last edited by osmosis : 04-20-2008 at 02:47 PM. |

Hi there, I was fairly sure it was the same Osmosis.
Well, you sure know how to plant the seed of envy. lol Seriously, it looks like you have a private slice of heaven there. The problem is that you have never given a hint at what neck of the woods you're in. How about just an idea in case one of us might already be close? Hmmm? ![]() Barb |
