Smile Hello

Hello, I have enjoyed reading your postings for a few weeks now. You all seem to be very generous with your advice and information. I love the idea of it all.
I have mostly fished for trout but have had the thrill of landing my one and only Steelhead (last spring) also. I am very interested in just about any other fish out there.
I bought an older Glasspar last fall. I am really excited to get out in it,as we (my son and I) only took it out twice last year. It has a deep V and is 19 feet long. I fell in love with the look of it as soon as I saw it. It still needs some work, then we would love to get out on some lakes and maybe even the rivers. Not quite ready for that really big ocean just yet...
My son and I will be banking it this weekend for our first outing this year. Maybe the Santiam? Maybe a local lake? I'll post the results Monday, good or bad.

Nice to have you on board Raincatcher, not real familiar with the your area but there are some members up there that will undoubtedly head you in the right direction. Tight lines...

Thank you for the welcome. I'm not surprised that you are not familiar with my area. I've lived in Oregon most of my life and had never heard of Dallas until about 8 years ago. I moved here as soon as I could after discovering it. Dallas is located about twenty miles west of Salem, on the way to the coast. I love it for the peace and quiet after living mostly in Portland. I do not miss the traffic up there at all! haha
