Most of us who grew up in Oregon knew nothing of the bass lurking in ponds, lakes and rivers all over Oregon. I discovered the fun of fighting bass last summer and want to learn more.

Good to see another Texan. I have relatives in your area (Temple) and a cousin who played for the bears. If you have not been the the NW to fish for Salmon or Steelhead you've missed some great hard fighting fish. Nothing in Texas compares to it; think of a fast moving stream and a 15 pound fish stripping line an dgoing downstream and you are fishing from the bank. They are tough to turn around. I like those fish so much my wife and I make a regular trip to Canada to fish for them and bought a place on a river in SW Wanshington. Welcome.
