Hello,
I have been trout fishing in Oregon since I was little. I have done some salmon fishing in BC and last summer caught the bass bug! Any day spent fishing is a good day in my book. I hope to catch some brooders at Junction City Pond this winter and look forward to exploring local bass hot spots next spring and summer. |

Hey willfishforfood (I like that name, by the way),
I'm new here too. I am somewhat new to fishing, but after trying lots of different kinds of fishing (trout, salmon, sturgeon, bass, crappie, etc.) on lots of Oregon rivers, lakes, and along the coast, I have to say that bass is my favorite by far. I had some good luck with some small mouth bass on the Columbia near Beacon Rock this summer. If you find some other good spots, please let me know. ![]() |

Welcome you two.....a northerner and a valley angler. The spring is just around the corner so the Bass angling should pick up. Welcome to OFF hope to hear from you often. I also like your name.

Welcome to both of you. I too love to Bass fish. I started out on the site last year with the same posts as you guys. I have caught a lot of fish since then and a lot of that has to do with the help I got on this site. Good luck and have fun in learning the art!
