Hello,
I have been trout fishing in Oregon since I was little. I have done some salmon fishing in BC and last summer caught the bass bug! Any day spent fishing is a good day in my book. I hope to catch some brooders at Junction City Pond this winter and look forward to exploring local bass hot spots next spring and summer.

Hey willfishforfood (I like that name, by the way),

I'm new here too. I am somewhat new to fishing, but after trying lots of different kinds of fishing (trout, salmon, sturgeon, bass, crappie, etc.) on lots of Oregon rivers, lakes, and along the coast, I have to say that bass is my favorite by far. I had some good luck with some small mouth bass on the Columbia near Beacon Rock this summer. If you find some other good spots, please let me know.

Post A double slam....

Welcome you two.....a northerner and a valley angler. The spring is just around the corner so the Bass angling should pick up. Welcome to OFF hope to hear from you often. I also like your name.

Chuck

Welcome to both of you. I too love to Bass fish. I started out on the site last year with the same posts as you guys. I have caught a lot of fish since then and a lot of that has to do with the help I got on this site. Good luck and have fun in learning the art!
