Default Another Bass Guy

My name is Chuck and I'm a bassaholic. Live in Oregon City, but have (bass) fished the Northwest for more than 25 years. Even though I do 75% of my fishing on the Washington side of the river, I still fish 30-35 times a year down here.

Always looking for local fishing partners to chase bass with in either Oregon or Washington.

Welcome Cavdad. I love to Bass fish as well. Got any tips for this time of year around West Linn? I have tried a couple times from areas that were effective in warmer weather, but now not bite. Just thought I would pick your brain right off the bat. Again welcome aboard!

Thumbs up Welcome to OFF

Nice to have you on board, .......I must admit most of the Bass I have caught in my life were accidental. Some on purpose, mostly Smallies on the Umpqua river. We do have a few warm water res. down here that do produce some very healthy Large Mouth Bass. Dorena, Cottage Grove and Look Out Res., I am sure you will find plenty of members that share your passion.

Chuck

With the recent cold fronts, my pick would be the Tualatin or Yamhill Rivers. They haven't cooled as much, and river bass tend to be less affected by barometric dips than lake fish. They feed out of opportunity. Maybe even try the lagoon at Clackamette.

Do you guys like my Avatar photo? Anyone know what it is? And yes I did catch it, and quite a few others, too.

Default Hmmmm....

I'm not an expert, so without going online to find it or anything, my guess is a black crappie
