Not a crappie or perch. They are not native to the US and can only be found in one state because they require very warm water. Very prolific once established.

Yeah its a Mayan Cichlid that was about a foot long. Oscars, Tilapia, and those Mayans took a heavy toll on my shiner supply while fishing for peacocks.
