Welcome to Oregon and to OFF, hope to hear from you often. I must admit you have chosen one of the best places to plant roots.

Thanks everybody! I'm brand new to the kind of fishing around here. I miss Minnesota... and I miss Iceman!! Oh well. I'm sure all y'all will make me feel welcome so I won't miss Iceman at all.

Don't worry Icey, I'll always love you like a bro. I'm already trying to figure out how I'm gonna get out there for ice fishing next winter.

P.S. What zone am I in? I live in Portland. And who wants to take me fishing????

Default Welcome to Oregon and to OFF DDR

You've just moved to one of the premier fishing areas of these United States. I've lived here all my life and love the diversity of the fishery here. There is a large number of fish species to fish for in our state. Enjoy it as we all do! You won't find much in the way of ice fishing here. Our climate is to mild for that. I hope you have webbed feet cause we get a lot of rain. Many of us post open seats on our boats throughout the year. I'm sure you won't have any problem finding someone to go fishing with. Again welcome and tight lines...
