Default JC Pond

I fished a couple hours there today, it was pretty crowded. I caught only one, a nice 14" rainbow on a gold thomas spoon. A guy next to me was fly fishing and caught three small ones within a half hour on a black nymph. I didn't have any luck with powerbait, but the locals use it all of the time. I plan to go again tomorrow. I went a couple times when it was colder and I can tell that a few warmer days have definitely made the fish, and fishermen, more active. Good luck!

Default Thomas Spoon

I went to JC pond again on Sunday and caught three, all on the same spoon. Similar to this one.fishing-jc-pond-lately-thomas.jpg

I saw a massive trout caught only 50' away, it was easily two feet long and probably 5-6 pounds.
