Today I tried to catch my brooder again. Again didn't catch it. But caught a nice 15" one and 5 babies. Also today I tried to do a videoreport instead of photo. The quality however sucks.

Air - 56, water - 52.

12.15. The guy next to me hooked one!

12.20 I caught a baby

Now you can see how big that dead fish are.

12.45 I caught 15" beauty! And I took a video! It was jumping as crazy! However when I came home I found that the video file is corrupted. So no video of this one.

Was fishing till 3pm. Caught few little once.

This one got confised where to escape

I also like to drip some scent on spoons and spinners. the smell of whatever you use may make them strike a little sooner. Just a technique i learned.

I just wrote in another thread that I don't remember the last time I didn't catch the limit at JCP but today life reminded me

I'm gonna blame it on the sun - too hot, too bright

Air - 60+, water - 58, sunny (I got my first sunburn ). There were a lot of people but not a lot of fish.

These geese decided to take bath right next to me. They were hot, too.

It's hot, trees are blooming - spring is here!

I caught a 14" trout, reeled it to the bank, was turning on my camera, when the fish waived bye bye to me with her tail and got back into the pond.

This little one didn't mind being a model.

Another little model.

Only at 7p.m. when the sun went down did I finally catch a keeper (14"). This time I got it on the bank and then started a photo session.

Default Heat of the day

When the sun get high in the sky, try a bobber with a night crawler about 1-2 feet from the bottom.....like a charm.

I think I got addicted to lures and will not change them to anything else.

Today I hooked two 14" trout (landed only the second - lost the first one about a feet from the bank ), and a 12" trout.

Today's pictures

Default Great photos, spinners

I just got my camera in the mail, And I will hopfully, knock on wood have some photos soon.

Anaitoly I am the same way, It is hard to go back to bait fishing when spinners can be so effective. It is easy to be patient when you are constantly casting and so forth. I think time goes by faster when I am spin fishing, because I am more occupied. Plus it is much more exciting to feel the hit of the fish rather than setting a bait hook. Nothing against the bait fishing. I know that when spinners get skunked bait may be cleaning up .

Today I was fishing from 2pm to 5.30pm. It was cold (about 50) and raining. Caught a 12" and a 8". No keepers today. There were just a few people fishing on the pond today. And one of them told me that he is a member of our forum!!! He showed me locations of holes in the pond! I hope he will post more often here and share his useful information.
