Made the 3 hr. drive from Portland on Sat. and fished near the mouth of the river (not too close- the State Trooper might tell you to move away-don't ask)- it's closed. We mostly plunked with worms and caught several nice ones like these two pics. Also caught about 40 more small stockers between 3 of us. All the big fish were natives and were released- including one which "somebody" clipped before we caught it

great looking fish! We were headed to that same area the other day then my little one started throwing a fit, maybe I'll get in there next week
