I also have a Bimini top on my boat, I got it at Overton's - Boating Accessories & Watersports Store > Boat Covers, Wakeboards, Boat Seats, Tubes, PWC, Marine Accessories
Thet have very good prices, and the top I got is very well made, and they come in 3 different materials and a bunch of colors. ![]()

The way I understand this technique is that you simply let out 100ft or more of line with just your lure on it to get it away from the boat. This is normally done spring, winter, and fall when the fish are going to be shallow. Since the fish are usually shallow one can forgo divers, weights, and flashers, but there's nothing that rules any of those out, for example it might be worth while to keep the flashers on your line if the fish need a little bit more flash to bring them in. So it's just a matter of what the fish want. |

The reason for this theory is this; fish won't feed into the sun - it temporarily blinds them...to many predators out there to be blinded. I have put it to the test on many occasions and its proved it self time and time again. There is much to learn, the key is to enjoy the whole experience - more than a few times I have drifted off looking at the scenery and had my rod jerk me back to reality. Hang in there !! Chuck
