Thumbs up Hills Creek-Spring Day !!!

Went to Hills Creek this morning, man what a difference a few weeks makes. The water temp. at 8:30am was 39 degrees and at 2:00pm when I left it was 48 degrees. Won't be long now and the fish will be leaping into my boat, won't even need a rod or a net. Had two fish on and got one to the boat, a very nice Land Locked Chinook Salmon. These things have a very strong desire to stay in the water, using my down rigger and a ultra light rod made the fish even better. No wind or clouds and the outside air temp. had to be close to 60 degrees. Not another boat on the lake, should probably petition to have the name of the lake changed to Troutski Res., yea thats the ticket and name the boat ramp after my boat. Any way a great day to be on the water, hope you all had a chance to get out. Tight lines to all. (sorry no pictures, forgot the camera)

Chuck
