We fished in sunshine for a change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yay!!!!!!
Saturday, we anchored up in the creek and tossed everything we had in the tackle box. Some lures caught a fish or two and some were defective! Every hour or so we would drop downstream 100ft. or so and cast again. We caught 52 all day long-till 7:30pm. Most were 8-12 inches with 4 in the 16-18 inch range. First time trout fishing in 10 years that I did not troll at all-all day! I think I'm getting the plunking disease from my fishing buddy. Is there no cure? I need a vaccination! BTW Chuck- looks like the agae is starting to bloom badly already. On the way back there were HUGE ribbons of algae visible as we cruised back to the ramp. All the way down the lake, and inside the cove at the ramp a big seam went from the ramp all the way out to the point- 10-20ft wide snaking its way around- so thick it looked like a shallow shoal area sometimes. Yuck! Jim |
