I think Chuck was saying to launch your boat anyway since you went all the way up there. And it is true in this case that Harriet was not stocked until yesterday. So yes it is stocked have fun and enjoy the beauty of that lake. Troll Thomas bouyants or fish Power eggs from the bottom. I like Chartruse and pink.

My uncle called the stocking line that confirms whether a body of water has been stocked.

Just got back home.. Didnt catch anything trolling Harriet today..got a couple bits but thats it.. Couple guys fishin off the shore one caught five off the bottom with powerbait couple good sized trout.. The other guys had one! Also off the bottom. But it was a beautiful trip a little windy later in the evening so me and my buddy decided to try Timber lake. Caught 2 small trout. They were jumping like crazy all over the place also the osprey was having a good hunt!! Watch out for the geese.

I am just wondering if I can float tube there?
harriet is a beautiful place for the float tube but beware of how early in the season it is... the first time i went up there i took the tube but it was mid to late april (still had snow on side of road) and even with heavy waders my legs were numb and purple in no time. the fishin was great and we suffered through it.

went up to harriet today, caught a few over average size trout for that lake, but there was alot of boats and bankers, and the fish were biting slow. if u got bit, u got the fish, but getting bites were difficult. went to timber lake on the way back, caught three trout. two small ones and one nice one. nailed them in the first five minutes and missed about ten after that. caught a limit of trout and a sunburn.

Went to Harriet on Sunday with my friends Tim and Heather. WE KILLED THEM!!!!!! We must have caught over 40 Trout. Some were 12" inchers and chubby. Heather caught at least 20 herself. We were using Powereggs pink and Chartruse. There were a lot of people there, but only we were catching fish regularly. As for boats I only saw two boats catch anything. Most people cleared out around 3 and left us the lake to ourselves. The sun came out for an hour or two that was really nice. That is the most fun I have had at Harriet since they stocked the Trophy Trout. pics to come once Tim sends them to me.
