Nice haul of trout !, Great dinner. Remember- those trout have rights.----- the right to butter and garlic,
Every year for the past 6 or 7 years my family has had a weeklong crawdad trip to Timothy. It is chock FULL of nice crawdads. More of excuse to sit around the fire and drink whiskey, but the crawdads are good too. I have not fished it in all that time though. As a boy 40 years ago I fished it quite a bit, but don't have much in memories of back then. I too have heard of some BIG brookies in there. This year we could not get our site and we are camping at Trillium and plan to drive over if we have to set pots in Timothy, but maybe there is 'dads in Trillium as well. Anyone know? |

That looks awesome JT. We will definately be checking that lake out, peace, quiet and cool clear water? Sounds perfect! Great job on the fish.

I camped at the Pine Point campground at Timothy lake last year and the fees were only $17 for a single campsite and $34 for a double campsite. Not sure what campgrounds is charging $50, but pine point was very nice.

Harriet Lake was NOT stocked on friday so Don't go there. 4-14 Schedualed stocking was canceled due to the road being snowed in. Funny though the back road in was clear as a bell. So they could have stocked it. We went up there and fished for about two hours before the reaization that no fish were bitting at all told us to move to Timber lake a short drive away. I limited out there in about two hours.

harriet stinked because of the delayed stocking, we took our boat up but didnt launch it after talkin to some guys on the water. we fished on the bank for about an hour. some guys were catchin browns on the flats with worms, nbut thats it. went to timber lake. it stunk too. it got fished out fast. the otter was havin trouble findin fish. dont bother the drive out past estacada until harriet gets stocked

Now my reason for this post is that not all anglers lie about catching or not catching...but some of us do. "So you have to ask your self - do you feel lucky punk, well do ya." ![]() ![]() Tight lines to you....Chuck
