Nice haul of trout !, Great dinner. Remember- those trout have rights.----- the right to butter and garlic,

Every year for the past 6 or 7 years my family has had a weeklong crawdad trip to Timothy. It is chock FULL of nice crawdads. More of excuse to sit around the fire and drink whiskey, but the crawdads are good too.

I have not fished it in all that time though. As a boy 40 years ago I fished it quite a bit, but don't have much in memories of back then. I too have heard of some BIG brookies in there. This year we could not get our site and we are camping at Trillium and plan to drive over if we have to set pots in Timothy, but maybe there is 'dads in Trillium as well. Anyone know?

I camped at the Pine Point campground at Timothy lake last year and the fees were only $17 for a single campsite and $34 for a double campsite. Not sure what campgrounds is charging $50, but pine point was very nice.

Harriet Lake was NOT stocked on friday so Don't go there. 4-14 Schedualed stocking was canceled due to the road being snowed in. Funny though the back road in was clear as a bell. So they could have stocked it. We went up there and fished for about two hours before the reaization that no fish were bitting at all told us to move to Timber lake a short drive away. I limited out there in about two hours.

I am on another web site that is all Fly anglers and these people will stop at nothing to keep a secret hole. Now I am not bashing them for it I have even been rather tight lipped at times on special places; but these anglers will go so far as to put up road closed signs across the road to there favorite creek, just to remove it on the why out. Once I saw a guy fishing at those ponds at the inter-change at belt line and Delta, Holding up a stringer of 15 inch Trout.....
Now my reason for this post is that not all anglers lie about catching or not catching...but some of us do. "So you have to ask your self - do you feel lucky punk, well do ya." Tight lines to you....
