Default Quartville Fishing

I thought I would share my last trip up to Quartzville, as well as a couple of pics of my catches. I was with a couple of buds and we were fishing near the bridge that is a few miles up the creek after it hits Green Peter Reservoir. My one friend was gold dredging upstream while my other friend and myself were trying our luck with some spinner action. I was using a combination of white and black white and silver Rooster Tails while my friend was using black and red and orange and pink.

I caught 5 in about 2 and a half hours while my friend caught absolutely nothing. After 3 fish I traded him the R.T. I was using and switched to the white and silver. I caught another 2 while he got skunked for the rest of the day. After cleaning them I put them on ice hoping that the next morning we would catch a few more and have a big fish dinner. I caught a couple small ones with the same R.T. from the day before but released them back in with the hopes that in the future they would grow bigger and more flavorful . I caught and kept one decent one for the day the whole while my friend is getting skunked again. Just one of the odd fish things where he was using the same tackle, fishing the same spots but not catching any of the fish I was. Well enough rambling, here are the pics, enjoy!

Thumbs up Smell the fish..

Man I can all most smell those fish...I love to grill Trout. A little lemon and a special dose of lemon pepper. Man I am getting hungry...Spinner fishing you gotta love it, I would rather use my spinning gear with a home made spinner that any other style of angling. I have become very actuate in my casting abilities and my spinners all most move while still in the tackle box . Thanks for sharing, I love fishing in that area myself...tight lines.
