How big a cooler ?

Until this week, the idea that I would need a cooler large enough for 2 salmon, much less 4, was somewhat remote.

What size do folks recommend for salmon and steelhead trips ? Figure large enough to cover self and a fishing partner both getting a limit. The cooler would be set in the bed of my pickup. I don't want a super expensive cooler, and of course I'd want it to be something I can secure to the truck so it doesn't get legs while sitting in a launch parking lot.

I don't need a super-cooler that will keep everything frozen for 2 weeks on a single ice cube. I just need something to get the catch home from the coast.

I guess the high water mark would be 2 guys getting a limit of salmon, like Dana and I did. But these were measely 20-25#-ers, not the big boy 40# beasts.
