I've been having good success at Hagg lake.

I would try any sluggish waters of Willamette tributaries or sloughs in the Willamette itself where you can get access. You're up around Portland, right?

Yes around portland...I just want to get a few fish off the yaks

I take my kayak out on the Willamette for smallmouth all the time. Now that the water is in decent shape I'll probably go out next weekend. It's packed full of smallies. Also hagg lake is great until the wind picks up.
