Question About Fly Fishing....

Hi guys, my hubby just bought his first fly set up he's very excited and we are trying to figure out where to go tomorrow where he can fly fish and I can use my spinner....we were thinking of going out to Hagg, any thoughts? Is it worth it? We would probably only be bank fishing. Thanks in advance!

Congrates to him fly fishing is great its like power bait for a stocker thow once you try it your hooked. I find my self getting more and more into it.
Hagg just got stocked this last week so for you bank fishing in the cove by the dam should work well. If the wind doesnt act up he could get a few fish to at hagg. Ive seen um grabing stuff of the top and it left me wishing i had my fly rod. There stocked fish so most things that move should get them to bite.

Good Luck

If you don't catch any this time, take special note of what kinds of bugs are buzzing about. The October caddis is still going and a soft hackle wet fly should rival the spinner if you can cast it as well. I like to wait for some surface breaks and then cast to them with my dry fly, make sure you have a bottle of fly floatant along...

Default You all are so sweet!

Thanks for the prompt replies guys, definately useful info. We will be there in the a.m. so if anyone comes out, look for the three of us, I usually wear a G. Loomis hat (in reddish/black) the hubby has a G.Loomis hat that is mostly bright orange, and we will also have our 8 yr. old son along (he's the greatest kid ever....). Shouldn't be hard to miss, come over and say hi, I really like everyone here, what a great site. One of the best fishing moves I've made was to join OFF and chat with you all. Thanks.
Jill
