Post Native fish...

I believe the Pike Minnow is a native species to the Willamette Vally basin.
I am not saying that they didn't have help getting into some of the remote places that they have shown up - but who knows for sure... All I know is when they are the size of the one I just caught, bring them on...pure power.. Trolling, what a hit...catch and release is my motto.

Ya man...that's a fat one! Seems like most of the ones I catch on the lower Sandy are about that same size. Them guys love my sandshrimp...

Here is my entry for 08.

Hooked this monster at Dodge park on the Sandy in early Aug

Let Andy junoir bring it in.

I don't care for them, and we had Jr. get his bonified "FishFinger"

Didn't measure it but it was BIG had to be pushing 23"

Careful handling did not occur. but it did swim away..... <*)))>< ooooooo
