I went out on Saturday afternoon for a couple of hours and went 10 for 12. A lot of small males with a couple of nice fat females.

I was at Clackemette just above the mouth. Red and pearl wee dick nite with 2oz. of lead bounced back was the ticket.

Peace, Tom

(ps) I use 6lb. main line and 4lb. dropper

Really? The numbers are below 7000 over the dam a day now. Are there plenty enough to catch like, 15 in two hours? I might have to go catch some more.

Over in the willamette I havnt seen many fishing for them... I was over there driving by and not a single boat in that area that I could see. so I'd say its pretty much over.

In past years that would be my indicator to go! The water conditions have to be about perfect and the big females should be still hanging around. if anyone wants to give it a go, I'll drag the boat over!
