hmm, carp actually doesn't sound so bad after all. most americans think that they are trash fish, i disagree because they are so similar to Koi which as you probably know are treasured in some asian cultures... hmmm just a thought though

I think carp have a bad rep, just like back in the days when lobster was the poor mans food. Later carp will be $$$ by the pound...haha.
It's hard to kill these guys though...with those eyes staring at you...sigh... |

yeah, maybe carp will be expensive someday, and i do agree with you troutski, the only "trash" fish would be hatchery fish. well they're not even "trash" fish, they're just a different, i want to say breed but they're not, umm it's like a courty person vs a city slicker, the slicker being the hatchery fish.
or something like that. i'm probably not making much sense. oh well.

Haha...I actually have kois...and they are about a ft. I suppose their beauty is why they are so valuable. Plus fishes are suppose to mean wealth...so the more you have...the luckier you'll be when it comes to money. That's if you take care of them well and none die. I think the best way to tell how a fish tastes is grill it...let it sit and then eat it cold. If you wouldn't eat it cold...you wouldn't eat it hot...haha...just my theory... |
