I wouldn't use teeth or lack of them as a bottom feeding indicator, but rather the shape and position of the mouth.

You mean there are predators with no teeth?

Edited to add: It's great you made this comment. I'm really confused about this topic and would like to learn about it. In animals world there are animals who are predators and who are not. Those who are not predators don't eat other animals. Predators do it other animals. But with fish it's kinda different. Pikeminnow is a bottom feeder but it eats little baby salmons. Or pikeminnow a predator, not bottom feeder? So what defines fish predator and what differs them from not predator?

Well bottom feeder isn't a description of what it eats but rather where it eats.

And of course the problem with fish predators gets a little weird when you realize that unless the fish eats algae or other plants it's a predator, even if that means it's eating clams, shrimp, snails, insects, or even zoo plankton. As even fish predominantly thought of as scavengers usually will eat live prey as well. For example you're common carp is a bottom feeder but seeing that it eats snails, worms, insects, etc... it's a predator. On the other hand you have grass carp which are not bottom feeders but only eat vegetation.

In my experience a pikeminnow is no more a bottom feeder than a bass is. They relate to structure similarly to a smally, they'll readily take any fish that'll fit in their mouth and passed by their structure, and I imagine they eat their fair share of invertebrates too.

Ok Troutski! Sorry its fuzzy... I have a camera phone is all. About the only thing that I think I can add that the pics dont show is that the white on the lure is kind of a metallic color. Im not sure what the weight is but I think its in the medium of most spinners. The blue fox in the pic is a 3/16oz... I have panther martins about the same size but I dont remember there weight. Any questions, throw them at me. I looked on the guys website but didnt see any of these: its nclaf.com

Looks like a challenge, the blades look like panther martin style....give me some time and I will put together a prototype and you can see what you think.
