Oh, I hear ya. I went to Shasta and Whiskeytown for memorial day weekend hoping to hook some 4lb kings and 2lb Kokes. Well the weather conspired against me. The bite was dead, I only managed 4 smallish (but blue, oddly enough) rainbow trout.

hahah I hear ya. I grew up in Prineville, so about 3 years ago I decided to make a trip back in the spring and fish a lake my folks used to have property on. The forecast was warm, no rain, I figured I was set. Packed a light sleeping bag and a thin pad etc.
What I forgot, since I hadn't spent time there for about 8 years was that even when it's warm in the spring it still get VERY cold after the sun sets. So the first night I'm laying there in a ball with a grass clump in my side, moderate to sever convulsions thinking well I may not make it... I can assure you the next day I found some warmer bedding material. The days were great but the nights get pretty cold there....
