I made it out only for an hour today with my 16 month old son with him on my back with our hiking pack. We mostly explored the roads around Little Falls creek but with out knowing the regs around that area and what was open to the public at this time we mostly did some site seeing. We did manage to get out for an hour at Big Falls creek and had a hot hour catching near a dozen Rainbows. My son had a blast. I think I got more excited about catching fish then he did. I am proud to say that one his first words is "ish," as at home I have Bass mounted and he always points at says "dadadad ish." You can never get them started too early fishing or anything with the outdoors. My son loves waking up with me and watching all my favorite fishing shows on VS...is you have cable. IT started to rain heavily after an hour so we were done, had it been myself I would have stayed out all day, but it wasn't about me today.

Those are the best kinds of stories. I can't wait til I have a child and take him/her fishing. I'm glad you were also able to catch some ish too.
