Default "Cougar" Reservoir

Got to Cougar at 7:00 a.m. I still don't have a thermometer but it was very pleasant. I was layered up and didn't get cold once. The water was very clear, the stumps in the water seemed to invite one further down the slope...
I didn't have worms and I only had worm hooks, powerbait without powerbait hooks is brutal with finicky biters...had a couple of bites but couldn;t keep the bait on or hook any. Lures were tried slow and low with no success either. Here's a couple of pics of a very nice day....

Default Cougar !!

Nice pictures Scott, what is that in the last image ? I know the spot you were at and I was there Thursday and was anchored about 60 feet off shore. It was unbelievable during the hatch, even a bat go into the action. Bummer about the skunk, but thats fishing.
