Whenever I go on a forum board, I am amazed at all the names we go by. Some are straight to the point, while others are more cryptic or have a special significance to the user.
It can be fun to explain the meaning of our name or how we came up with our user identity. What is the story behind you user name? |

I feel mine displays how it feels, for me, to be on the water. I chose the wording because I thought it was clever. You know us anglers, we sure like to be clever.

Mine comes from a long time friend, Bill Kozlouski...we spent many years rebuilding Chevy's togeather and before he passed away he stuck the nick name Ski on me, so because I Trout fish and he made me a honerary Polish angler. I liked the name so ........Troutski was born. Your right about nick names and monikers, they do have unique history's.

When I was in high school a friend of mine started calling me hawk, and soon everyone was calling me that. Then when I found this site, and I had to chose an appropriate name, since I love to fish, and an Osprey is a fish hawk, I decided that Osprey should be my name.

Mine is because of my son who played football at Clackamas High School. A few of us made a few jerseys (T-shirts) to support our kids at the games, but instead of using the Cavalier name we called ourselves Cavdads. My son's jersey was #45 all three years he started on varsity. So it stuck.
