A little bit of both

He is hiding behind the log, so trout couldn't see him.

Thanks Guys..I took the photo at the Metolius River Springs in central Oregon....And it really does look like that..That is 3 photos merged into one panoramic as it is to large to fit it all in one photo..Looks good on the site..

Default Nice Work

Looks amazing , nice work mokai.

However the classic photo of Troutski on the old site is now engraved into my mind. That was a Classic photo as well.

Site looks nice, the colors are more vibrant, and the perception of space is more realistic. It is also quicker to navigate.

Mokai takes amazing photos, I think he has talked about his photography and what camera he uses before on the forum, but those posts may be deleted?

Have a good one.

Default & Anatoliy

Nice work as well, I gather you put the whole thing together and made it work.

OK, I'll be the first to complain about the ever evolving design (in it's current state)!

Problem #1: The pull/drop downs are inbetween my browser's tabs and the forum, which when browsing between tabs and coming back makes using the forum slightly unpleasant (there's a slight pause as the menu drops down).

Problem #2: What happened to the pictures?!

Other than that I like the new look, and the art work is to die for.

What internet browser are you using? I use Mozilla Firefox and don't seem to have any problems. I also checked my Internet Explorer and did not have that problem either.

As for the pix, I miss them too.

I need constructive criticism.

I don't have a slight pause as the menu drops down but I agree with you. As drop downs are inbetween the browser's tabs and the forum those popup navigations pops even when I don't want they do so. And it's not good. I want to control the page, not the page control me. I agree something should be done with it. I don't know what yet, but it's in my list.

I thought the idea with featured pictures was good (and still think so). However the pictures & javascript that lets to enlarge pictures in the same window made the homepage too "heavy" increasing the load time dramatically. That's why I decided to delete them. What's the use of having a page with all the bells & whistles if visitors give up and leave due to page loading time.
