I guess I'll restart this one. Here is my baby, even spent a night in a hotel room on the coast with her. People next door were noisy, but her and I, we just hung tight watchin' SpeedVision until bedtime.

She's a beaut...I like the "Got Grog" sticker. You do a lot of piracy from the cat?

My particular hole to toss money into, as my wife refers to it is a 15 foot SmokerCraft Alaskan. With the following amenities: Bimini Top,46lb thrust Minn. trolling motor with its own deep cycle marine batt.,two top of the line soft on the bottom, w/arm chairs, two many rod holders (Scotty's) a 3D side scan Sonar and a combo 2D sonar with builtin GPS,as for the power plant a 25 hp Bigfoot four stroke Mercury with power trim and tilt along with electric start and a 13 amp charging alternator with its own battery deep cycle marine in line Pergo isolation switch for the two battery's one in the bow and the other is in the stern and is used for starting the engine and power for the sonars/gps. No how low you run your eletric motor the motor and sonar/gps is still at full power. Bow and stern one man active anchor systems, 30 lbs bow and 17 stern. For the cold mornings a propane heater, a A/C adapter for your lap top or cell phone to call in late or sick
The boat doesn't weigh much so I can launch all most any where my 4X4 will take me (Jim ) and for good measures I installed roller bunks on my trailer, this way it just slides OFF the trailer. Also because of the bunks putting it back on is a piece of cake. Here a re a few pictures.Chuck ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() pay no attention to the needle and syringe laying next to the sonars, it wasn't even there .Not the biggest on the water but it does the job very nicely - gas milage is two full days of trolling playing and putting around - 3GALS of fuel. and it is paid for. Hard to look at new boats when you finely get yours the way you want it and there is no payment. Lets see some others. Chuck

I like the heater addition to Chuck's boat. It kept me from getting frost bite

That is pretty cool JT. Looks like it has a tough skin, easy to break down and I imagine floats pretty darn well in waves. I bet something like that just skims so easy across the water... so quiet. The only thing I don't like about mine is I have the damn thing bogged down with so much bullshit it's like I have to make sure I have no half-full bottles of Coke in my bag that would be unneeded weight. I find myself looking at kayaks more and more just for how sleek they are..

I have the exact same boat- you are right , paid for makes it more beautiful .
I have a 20 h.p. 2 stoke Tot and a new Johnson 6 h.p. 4 stroke . Found out a while back that trolling with a 2 - stroke is a real pain , they do not like low r.p.m. - where did you get your top and how much ? |

I have a boat called a Mokai..It is a motorized Kayak basically..It has a Honda 6hp 4 stroke motor and a jet pump..It will do about 15mph and only needs 4 to 6 inches of water to run in..The thing is great..Gets me to allot of remote and hard to get to places..
It is really fuel efficient too..It will run 8 to 10 hours on 3 gallon tank..And that is just run time and I have found it to do a bit better than that at times.. ![]() ![]() ![]() Mokai Manufacturing Inc.
