Is there any local ponds or low flowing areas to take a pontoon in the Salem area? Im bewildered on where to fish, too many places and dont know where to start.

There are a few SMALL ponds at Molalla river state park, just across the ferry from you. The one with the little dock has blue gill, crappie, warm mouth, and a few largemouth. The one next to it has no fish that I know of. The next two are FULL of bluegill and warm mouth. Bank access is very limited due to heavy brush, but a toon would open them up nicely.
